Marshall of Cambridge (Holdings) Ltd scooped a ‘Best Reporting by a Private Company’ award in PwC’s annual Building Public Trust Awards.
The company received the award in PwC’s 17th annual competition, which celebrates companies who lead the way in ‘open, authentic and accessible reporting and communications’.
“We are tremendously proud to win this award, especially as its presentation is during the week we also celebrate our 110th anniversary,” said Marshall Group Vice-Chairman, Robert Marshall, who accepted the award at a ceremony in London last week (Thursday, 3 October).
“During this time our purpose has remained consistent on the way we deal with customers, our passion for Cambridge and our long-term view on building prosperity for our stakeholder and shareholders, and it is gratifying that the judges have acknowledged that in us.”
Private businesses nominated for this category are judged on areas including how they demonstrate their societal contribution and impact, the consistency across all aspects of reporting, clear articulation of the company’s objectives, strategic priorities and values, and consistent and strategic narrative.
